The Bandar division police are maintaining several varieties of plants being grown on the Manginapudi beach as a part of their green drive.

A small holding, a few meters from the sea, has been adopted by the police to provide green cover on one of the safest beaches in Krishna district for bathing. Members of the Manginapudi Beach Photographers’ Association have come forward to conserve the plants on a daily care basis.
