P. Srinivas assumed the office of the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Vijayawada Division here on Monday. He took charge from R. Dhananjayulu.
A 1990 batch Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) officer, Mr. Srinivas has served in various capacities in many railway divisions and in the headquarters of South Central Railway (SCR). He has also worked on deputation in Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RINL) as the Chief Project Manager (coordination). He has made official visit to the U.S.A., Singapore, China, Malaysia and other countries.
Safety meeting
The new DRM participated in a meeting with the officials of engineering, electrical, commercial, signal and communication and other branches and took stock of the situation. During a safety meeting, he stressed the need for taking safety measures at all levels.
Later, Mr. Srinivas took part in a video conference with the General Manager, Additional DRMs, heads of all departments.
