NHAI regional office in Vijayawada soon

The Central government has decided to open a regional office of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in Vijayawada. NHAI Chief General Manager (HR and Administration) issued the orders in this regard on December 22, saying that the regional office would be opened with immediate effect.

Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas (Nani), on the occasion, thanked the Union Minister for Surface Transport Nitin Gadkari the decision.

The regional office would be useful for all 13 districts in the State. It would facilitate fast clearance of permissions, and inspection of the quality of works undertaken under the NHAI project and etc, he said.
