Nail cutter removed from girl’s stomach

Doctors at the Government General Hospital, Guntur, have successfully removed a nail cutter from the stomach of a seven-year-old girl.

Superintendent, GGH, D.S Raju Naidu said the case was brought to the emergency ward of GGH at 11 p.m. on Thursday.

The parents of the girl, Mourya Raju and Mourya Lakshmi, were daily labourers from U.P. Doctors led by Head of the Department, Gastroenterology, Kavitha, performed the surgery and removed the nail cutter, the hospital Superintendent said.
