Modi to reach capital fete venue at 12.30 p.m.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s schedule for the Amaravati foundation ceremony on Thursday has been finalised and he will be arriving at the venue at 12.30 p.m. and will leaving at 1.45 p.m.

During the one-day visit to the State, Mr. Modi will also inaugurate the Garuda terminal at Tirupati airport, lay the foundation for Tirupati mobile manufacturing hub and visit the temple of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala.

According to officials, Mr. Modi will also go around the Amaravati Pavilion, a walk through showcasing the evolution of Amaravati. After the foundation ceremony puja, he will proceed to the dais. There will be recitation of Maa Telugu Talli song at 12.48 p.m. followed by speeches by Yosuke Takagi, State Minister, METI, Japan and Singapore’s Second Minister for Trade and Industry S. Iswaran.

Union Minister of Urban Development M. Venkaiah Naidu will address the gathering at 12.56 p.m. followed by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at 1.01 p.m. The Prime Minister will address the gathering at 1.11 p.m.

After the speech, there will be a memento presentation programme and the Prime Minister will leave the venue at 1.45 p.m. for Gannavaram airport, from where he will fly to Tirupati. After inaugurating the airport terminal at 3.50 p.m. he will participate in the foundation ceremony of mobile manufacturing hub at 4 p.m. in Tirupati. From there he will reach Padmavathi Guest House and head to Lord Venkateswara Temple, Tirumala. After darshan, Mr. Modi’s will conclude his trip at 6.15 p.m.
