Modi praises State govt. initiatives

Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the Andhra Pradesh government for implementing ‘Spandana’, weekly off for policemen and other projects being used in prevention and detection of crime.

Mr. Modi, who visited the stall arranged by AP Police in Police Technology Exhibition, after inaugurating the expo at Vadodara in Gujarat on Thursday, enquired the police personnel about the Weekly Off system for police, which was the first of its kind in the country.

The Prime Minister also enquired DIG (Technical Services), G. Pala Raju and AIG (Law and Order) Rajashekar, who attended the exhibition, on ‘Spandana’, Finger Print Identification, DG Dash Board, Locked House Monitoring System (LHMS), Virtual Policing System, Offender Surveillance System, Face Recognition, e-Visit and other projects.

Praising the AP Police for implementing innovative projects, Narendra Modi directed the AP Police to submit the details of the projects being successfully implemented in the State.
