Kala Jathas and publicity vehicles for giving extensive publicity to the welfare schemes of the State government even in interior villages of Krishna district were flagged of by district Minister K. Parthasarathi.

The Minister, along with MLAs Malladi Vishnu and Vellampalli Srinivas, and MLC Ilapuram Venkaiah, joined the folk artistes in beating the drums.

Addressing the gathering, the Minister said no other State had the kind of welfare schemes being implemented by Andhra Pradesh. The welfare schemes put the State in the number one position, he said.
