Students of International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Nuzvid, met former President and Indian scientist A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, at the 32 Annual International Space Development Conference (ISDC), being held at San Diego in USA, on Sunday.

Thirteen students who designed projects on the topic, ‘Creating alternative living for the mankind on Space’, for NASA Ames Space Settlement Design Contest – 2013, are attending the ISDC. The young scientists presented their projects during the ongoing space meet.

The students met scientist Mr. Abdul Kalam, who also attended the conference and explained the theme of their projects.

The former President of India praised the RGUKT students who designed the projects on settlement on moon with innovative ideas by using latest technologies.
