‘Famous dishes from coastal A.P, Rayalaseema districts will be served from 7.30 p.m. to 11 p.m. till June 30’

Known for its tangy, hot and spicy flavours, Andhra food is as diverse as its people, spread in varied topological regions.

To treat people of the city on this lip-smacking fare, Hotel Taj Gateway on Friday kicked off Andhra Food Festival in its GAD restaurant.

“Different regions in the State have different cuisines. We want to use this platform to promote the famous dishes from coastal Andhra and from the Rayalaseema districts,” said Bhanu Prakash Mandava, Sales Manager of the hotel.

Addressing the local media at the launch of the food festival, Mr. Bhanu Prakash said the hotel’s master chef Brahmaji, the executive chef Shreedhar, along with their team, would dish out gourmet’s delights during the festival period till June 30, without compromising on the consistency of quality and authenticity of the taste.

Foodies who love non-vegetarian food, can dig into dishes like assorted tawa fish and seafood, bongu biryani, bongu chicken, Ambaji peti pottikalu, chinta chiguru mamsam, Ravulapalem muntha biryani and Seema naatu kodi pulusu.

Vegetarians have an assortment of delicacies to choose from such as kanda-bachchali, sorakai-gongura, Godavari panasakai pulao, munagaaku kura, gongura-puttagodugula pulao, arati puvvu pesara, pappu, patchi pulusu, dappalam and Konaseema panasa pittu. The dishes in the menu will be served in dinner from 7.30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
