Five-day National Integration Camp begins

More than 300 students from across the State are participating in it

The five-day National Integration Camp (NIC) kicked off to a colourful start at Youth Training Centre at Vepagunta on Monday, with large number of youth from various districts participating in it.

The programme is being conducted to allow the youth to experience various cultures and interact with each other, know each other’s customs, life styles, and employment opportunities.

“We are excited about the camp. There are number of sessions, especially those regarding job opportunities, skill development. Moreover, such camps help us know about the cultures of other districts,” said K. Ramu, a student of KSRM College in Kadapa.

Cultural programmes were organised by students during the inaugural. Several students showcased their Karate skills, while a fancy dress competition stole the show. According to officials from Youth Wing Services, more than 300 youth from various colleges across the 13 districts including Visakhapatnam are attending the camp.
