CP to launch campaign against child labour

City Police Commissioner A.B. Venkateswara Rao will launch a campaign against child labour, coinciding with the Anti-Child Labour Day. The programme will begin at PWD Grounds on Friday, said National Child Labour Project Krishna District Project Director D. Anjaneya Reddy.

Joint Labour Commissioner (Eluru Zone-2) M.N. Varahala Reddy and Krishna district Deputy Labour Commissioner N. Suryanarayana will participate. Officials and students of various NGO homes will participate in the signature campaign and distribute brochures against child labour, Mr. Reddy added.
