CP distributes sunglasses, masks to traffic police

To beat the scorching heat, city Police Commissioner A.B. Venkateswara Rao distributed sunglasses, masks and water bottles to traffic police here on Tuesday.

He gave away the kits to 250 traffic police personnel, including ACPs, CIs, SIs, ASIs, constables and home guards. A.V. Optical Showroom owner Subba Rao gave glasses to the traffic police. He appealed to the police to use masks to protect themselves from pollution and sunglasses from the heat. “With the kits, we can protect the health of traffic police constables to some extent,” the Police Commissionersaid.

Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) L.K.V. Ranga Rao and G.V.G. Ashok Kumar, Additional DCP-Traffic T.V. Nagaraju, ACPs K. Chidananda Reddy and Sravan Kumar participated.
