‘Competitiveness is key to success’

ANUR V-C presents pratibha awards to 67 students

Vice-Chancellor of Adikavi Nannaya University M. Mutyala Naidu has said that teachers have to give encouragement as well as guidance for students in reaching heights and this motivation will lead them to make their life successful. He gave away ‘Pratibha Awards’ to 67 students from Arts and Commerce, Science and Engineering colleges of the University campus on Monday. He handed over a cheque of ₹20,000, medal and merit certificate to them.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the university has drawn many programmes and schemes to encourage students. There is high demand for human resources with talent in job market.

Students should make use of the programmes and set their own goals, Prof. Naidu said. He said that competitiveness will help students in achieving their goals.

With the aim to encourage meritorious students, the university has instituted these awards, he said.

Principals of the university K.S. Ramesh, K. Subbarao, T. Hymavathi, Persis and Dean S. Teki participated.
