Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated Novotel Vijayawada Varun here on Sunday. He was welcomed by Varun group chairman V. Prabhu Kishore and chief operating officer Madhav Bellamkonda.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Naidu congratulated the Varun Group and its partner Accor Hotels for coming up with a hotel with international standards in Vijayawada which, he said, reflected the growing importance of the region for business and leisure travellers.
By bringing its luxurious property to Vijayawada, the Varun group gave a fillip to the hospitality sector in the capital region which was looking for some big-ticket investments, for which the government offered various incentives, the CM said.
He congratulated Mr. Kishore and others who conceived the project and gave it a beautiful shape with state-of-the-art facility.
