Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu laid foundation stone for Christian Bhavan at Adavi Takkellapadu in the district on Wednesday as part of Semi-Christmas celebrations.
It will have the head office of A.P. Christian Minority Corporation and be let out for marriages, public meetings and other events related to the community.
The State Government has initially released Rs.10 crore for the building. Ministers Ravela Kishore Babu (Social Welfare) and Prathipati Pulla Rao (Agriculture) and District Collector Kantilal Dande were among those present.
