CM, Amit Shah launch advanced life support ambulances

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and BJP National President Amit Shah flagged off five new advanced life support ambulances donated by Union Minister for Railways and Rajya Sabha member Suresh Prabhu, at Gannavaram airport here on Thursday.

Mr. Prabhu and his Cabinet colleagues M. Venkaiah Naidu and Y.S. Chowdary, BJP Andhra Pradesh President and Visakhapatnam MP K. Haribabu, Narasapuram MP Gokaraju Gangaraju and others were present.

Mr. Prabhu said he donated an ambulance to each one of the 13 districts under his MPLAD scheme.

The ambulances would be used for trauma care mainly in the rural areas. They are equipped with tele-medicine facility and have other equipment needed to help victims of road accidents.

Ministers Kamineni Srinivas and P. Manikyala Rao, BJP Mahila Morcha National In-Charge D. Purandeswari and MLAs Vishnu Kumar Raju, Vallabhaneni Vamsi and Bode Prasad were among those present.
