International Children's Book Day (ICBD) is being celebrated to inspire a love of reading and to draw attention to children's books. Forum for Better Bapatla released a poster to mark the day on Wednesday.

Forum secretary P.C Saibabu said that ICBD had been celebrated from 1967 to mark the birthday of Hans Christian Andersen, a Danish author and poet best known for his fairy tales. He said that it was important to develop reading habit among children.
