Chided over phone usage, man sets ablaze himself

A 24-year-old man allegedly set himself on fire following an argument with parents over his obsession with the smartphone, at Nunna on Thursday. He sustained minor burns and was counselled by the police after being treated in a hospital.

According to Nunna police, the man is an auto-rickshaw driver and breadwinner of the family. He reportedly entered into an argument with his parents after his father censured him for over usage of the phone. The parents also informed the police that their son was having psychological issues.
