‘Character is the key to successful life’

Vice-Chancellor of Krishna University V. Venkaiah on Thursday said students must build character as it was the key for a successful life.

Addressing students of DVR & Dr. H.S. MIC College of Technology, on the occasion of ‘Aagama’ 14, the college’s annual fest, Mr. Venkaiah quoted Vivekananda and said the young learners must draw lessons from his life.

Exhibition

As part of the event, the college also organised a national-level technical paper presentation contest. An exhibition of working models was also organised on the sidelines. Nearly 100-odd exhibits entered the contest from various engineering and diploma branches. Students drawn from seven schools in the surrounding areas visited the exhibition.

Lakshmi Haribandi, the guest of honour, urged the students to work hard and scale great heights in the ladder of success.

150 papers submitted

Principal K.B.K. Rao said over 150 papers from 25 colleges across the country were submitted in technical paper presentation contest.
