Brahmana Samakhya elects new body

Andhra Pradesh Brahmana Seva Sangha Samakhya has elected its new governing body recently.

Addressing to the media here on Friday, Samakhya chief advisor Kota Sankara Sarma and election committee chairman P. Lakshminarayana released the list of newly elected members.

The Samakhya elected J. Srikanth of Anantapuram as its president and Konuru Satish Sarma as its general secretary. The Samakhya members elected Malladi Srinivasu as treasurer.

Eight each vice presidents and secretaries, and as many as 24 executive members were also elected. The new governing body was elected for the 2015-16, 2016-17 years.

The Samakhya was founded by noted lawyer Sitaramanjaneyulu at Visakhapatnam in 1984. He also founded All India Brahmin Federation with a view to promote Brahmins in socio, economic and political spheres.
