BJP takes out rally on civic issues

Members of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Krishnalanka Nadiparivahaka Prantha Parirakshana Committee took out a rally in the 14th , 15th and 16th divisions on Sunday to and interacted with the citizens about the civic problems plaguing the respective localities.

Speaking on the occasion, BJP city president D. Umamaheswara Raju said the party would strive for welfare of the residents who were facing eviction threat owing to the canal beautification project being undertaken by the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC). Other problems would be tackled by the party committee under the chairmanship of V. Pallapu Raju.
