In a bizarre incident, a toddler, who was about to be buried at a graveyard came back to life, creating a flutter in Vijayawada on Wednesday.

Parents of the child, belonging to Chintalapudi in West Godavari district, had a harrowing time when a corporate hospital near Ramavarappadu Ring Road declared their baby dead while she was on a ventilator.

However, much to the delight of the grieving parents and relatives the infant started breathing and later she was rushed to the Government General Hospital (GGH) for treatment.

The baby was suffering from a neurological ailment for which she was admitted for treatment.

The baby’s father Ch. Chennakesava Raju blamed the private hospital for wrongly diagnosing the baby as brain dead. No police case has been registered so far.
