Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) Chairman and Managing Director (C&MD) Nanduri Sambasiva Rao on Friday inaugurated a Central Complaint Cell (CCC) on the Pandit Nehru Bus Station (PNBS) premises here on Friday.
The cell will work round the clock, and the staff will receive complaints through phones from all regions of the State. Passengers can also have information on APSRTC services to neighbouring States and the operations of other State services in Andhra Pradesh, said Mr. Sambasiva Rao.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the aim of setting up the cell was to bridge the gap between the passengers and the corporation, and provide better services to them. Complaints and suggestions can also be made through mails, he said..
RTC Executive Director N.V. Rao said that CCS will deal with 52 types of complaints, enquiries and invite suggestions. Passengers can dial 0866-2570005 and enquire about availability of tickets, service availability, boarding point, fares, driver phone number, service number, ticket booking, cancellation, service cancellation and other information.
Regarding complaints, commuters may call CCS and register their complaints on behaviour of crew, poor condition of buses, delay in services, accidents and rash and negligent driving,
