‘Amaravati to be energy efficient city’

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu further said it was his endeavour to develop Amaravati as a world class capital city and exhorted the renewable energy producers and component manufacturers to contribute to his vision to make it an energy-efficient city.

With a proposed coastal road, inland waterways and national highways and seaports envisaged as part of the Sagar Mala project, the State was poised to develop into a logistics hub while Rayalaseema evolved into a renewable energy.

Joint Secretary of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy Varsha Joshi, SEL Chairman Tulsi Tanti and president Chintan Shah, GWTPL CMD Ramesh Kymal, Regen Powertech MD Madhusudan Khemka and RWPPL COO Parag Sharma were present.
