Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu launched 4G services of the Bharti Airtel in five cities – Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Guntur, Tirupati and Nellore – in a programme at his camp office here on Saturday.

On the occasion, Mr. Naidu requested the company CEO (A.P and Telangana) V. Vijayaraghavan to lend expertise in making eight lakh DWCRA women ‘digitally literate’ and rolling out Internet services across the State as part of the Fibre Grid project. The 8 lakh trained women would make ten times their number digitally literate over the next few years. Mr. Vijayaraghavan said Bharti Airtel had a teaching module ready and the women could be made digitally literate through training.
