Aid released


The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) sanctioned ₹ 50.36 crore under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund – XXIII (RIDF XXIII) as loan assistance for construction of 8 new Government Polytechnic Colleges.

The new colleges will be constructed in Tadipatri in Anantapur District, Pillaripattu in Chittoor District, Krosuru in Guntur District, Pithapuram in East Godavari District, Kamalapuram in YSR Kadapa District, and Tadepalligudem and Jangareddygudem in West Godavari District.

The NABARD also sanctioned ₹ 25.50 crore providing additional infrastructure facilities such as dormitories, toilet blocks, kitchen, Overhead Service Reservoirs (OHSR), computer labs, RO plant (safe drinking water) for 21 Tribal Welfare Residential Schools in 7 districts of the State, according to a press release.
