Y. Rajagopalarao, former president of Affiliated College Teachers Association and former HoD of Physics at Andhra Loyola College, here passed away after a prolonged illness late Friday night.
He was 80 and is survived by his wife Y. Sitaratnam, a son and a daughter. Rajagopal Rao joined the ALC as a lecturer way back in 1953 in the first batch of faculty and rendered his long standing services to the college.
