The Hindu , in association with Denty's, a modern dental clinic at Governorpet, is conducting a dental awareness programme called ‘Happy Smile' at Akshara International school on Wednesday.

Ch. Tejasree, clinical director, Denty's, and Y. Pallavi Samatha, periodontist, will be the guest speakers and will also conduct the dental check-up for the children. K. Sarada Anil Kumar, Principal, Akshara International School, and K. Chandrasekaran, Regional General Manager, The Hindu , Vijayawada, will be present. Denty's is among the largest multi-speciality dental infrastructure in the State, housing specially designed dental operation equipment with latest technology, which is purely specialist-driven practice.

The key focus of the programme would be ‘preventive dentistry', based on the principle that a healthy smile is a good indication of a happy child. The child's oral health is mainly nurtured by teachers and parents of respective children.
