WEAT plans skill training programme

WEAT will organise a one week training in catering and 50-day training in tailoring.

The Women Entrepreneurs Association of Tamil Nadu (WEAT) would organise a one-day skill training programme here on July 14.

The programme would be on sanitary napkin production, soft toys and aari work, beautician training, phenoyl, soap oil, detergent power production, value added products of banana and minor millets, terrace gardening, pickles, masala powder, soap, mush room cultivation, artificial jewellery making, herbal product, cosmetics, autorickshaw driving, kunthan jewel making, television, mixie, grinder repair services, sari dying and embroidery. It would organise a one week training in catering and 50-days training in tailoring.

After the demo for groups, interested participants can enrol for specific training. The training would be held at WEAT Office at 135/B, St. Paul's Complex, Bharathiar Salai, Tiruchi. Those interested can contact 0431-4200040 or 9488785806, a release said.
