Sri Guru Guha Gana Saba in Srirangam has been celebrating its anniversary by organising musical concerts and honouring musicians. As part of its anniversary, it organised vocal concerts for two days till Sunday.

Run by a group of four women, it aims at propagating music and encouraging budding artistes, say the organisers.

This year, the anniversary celebration commenced with music concerts by Kamakoti Sisters – Jayamathangi and Jayabargavi on Saturday. On the second day, Delhi P. Sunder Rajan rendered the vocal concert.

“We identify budding artistes and encourage them through the concerts,” say the organisers of the Saba.
