Vigilance awareness week commences

Administering a pledge to the employees and officials marked the inaugural of the Vigilance Awareness Week on Monday. Executives of various institutions administered the pledge to the employees on the occasion.

S. Gopinath, Executive Director, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, addressing the employees and executives, spoke on the need for moulding the future generation with a thrust on integrity.

R.S. Deenadaylu, P. Soundararajan, K. Ganesan, and K. Ravishankar, all general managers, spoke.

Debates and elocution contest were organised as part of observance of the week with the theme “Preventive Vigilance as a tool for good governance”.

In Pudukottai, S. Ganesh, District Collector, administered the pledge to the employees and officials. Suriyakala, Special Deputy Collector, was present.

In Karaikal, E. Vallavan, District Collector, administered the pledge to the officials.
