The Collector said about two lakh heads of cattle in the district would be vaccinated and elaborate arrangements had been made to cover all animals. Special animal husbandry teams formed for the purpose would be available at the villages from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on the dates specified for the village.

The cattle owners were directed to get their animals vaccinated so that they were not affected by the disease.
