Jayashree Muralidharan, Collector, felicitated the top scorers in Plus Two from government schools in the district and presented special awards to them, here on Monday.
In Tiruchi district, centum pass percentage in Plus Two was registered by nine government schools, namely Kolakkudi, Moovanur, Kallagam, C.Ayyampalayam, Keel Anbil, Valaiyur, Tiruchendurai, Corporation School, Tiruchi, and School for the Blind. The Collector commended the headmasters and headmistresses of the nine schools and 38 students who were top scorers from these schools. The students included those who had scored more than 1,100 marks in government schools, more than 1,050 in Adi Dravidar schools and top three rankers from the corporation and blind schools. The students received books as gifts from the Collector.
