Traffic diversion

The police have announced diversion of heavy goods vehicles and mofussil buses for the Samayapuram Mariamman Temple Poochorithal festival from 8 a.m. on March 10 till 2 p.m. on March 11.

All vehicles proceeding towards Salem from Tiruchi would go via check post - 7 (Kudamurutti), Jeeyapuram, Pettavaithalai, Kulithalai, Musiri, Thottiyam and Namakkal and return.

Vehicles proceeding towards Tiruchi from Salem and Namakkal would be diverted at Musiri Kaikatti and proceed via Kulithalai, Pettavaithalai, Jeeyapuram to reach Tiruchi.

Chennai-bound vehicles coming on the Dindigul national highway via Tiruchi would be diverted at Manapparai Andarvarkoil check post and go via Kulithalai, Musiri Periyar bridge, Thuraiyur and Perambalur Bypass.

All vehicles proceeding towards Chennai from Madurai national highway would be diverted at Lanjamedu Kaikatti and go via Manapparai Andavarkoil check post, Kulithalai, Musiri Periyar bridge, Thuraiyur and Perambalur By Pass.

All vehicles proceeding towards Chennai from Tiruchi, Thanjavur and Pudukottai would be diverted at Kollidam 'Y' road junction and go through Kollidam roundabout, Nochiyam, Manachanallur, Ayyampalayam, Edumalai Junction, Tirupathur cut road, Siruganur Junction and Chennai Trunk Road.

Tiruchi-bound vehicles from Chennai would be diverted at Perambalur and go via Ariyalur, Pullambadi, Lalgudi and Kollidam new bridge.

All vehicles from Chennai and coming towards Tiruchi would be diverted at Thachankurichi and go via Kumulur, Poovalur Junction, Lalgudi, Kollidam roundabout and Kollidam new bridge.
