Dravidar Kazhagam president K.Veeramani on Tuesday called upon voters to utilise the coming elections to dethrone the “anti-people” governments at the Centre and the State.
Soliciting votes in favour of CPI candidate for Nagapattinam Parliamentary (Reserve) Constituency M. Selvarasu and DMK nominee for the by-election to Tiruvarur Assembly segment K.Kalaivanan at Pazhayavalam and Sholinganallur, he claimed that the glory and self-esteem of Tamils could be retrieved only if the fascist BJP at the Centre and its counterpart in the State, AIADMK, were thrown out of power.
For this to happen, he urged the voters to exercise their franchise in favour of the DMK-led combine in the elections.
