All the public service centres run by the Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation at the taluk offices under the e-governance project in the district would function on Sunday, according to an official communication. The move was intended to facilitate processing of applications for various certificates such as community certificates from students.

diet and yoga
An awareness programme on natural diet and yoga for health was organised for government employees at the Collector’s Office in the city on Saturday. Collector K.S. Palanisamy, who inaugurated the programme, emphasised the need for government employees maintaining good health to discharge their duties effectively. Government doctors briefed the government employees on various aspects of health and natural diet and the benefits of practising yoga.
