Reservation opens today for Egmore-Tirunelveli train

Southern Railway has announced the operation of weekly special trains from Chennai Egmore to Tirunelveli and back to clear the extra rush of traffic.

The Chennai Egmore–Tirunelveli weekly special train (06063) will leave Chennai Egmore at 9.05 p.m. on Fridays from July 3 to 31 and reach Tirunelveli at 9.45 a.m. the next day.

The Tirunelveli–Chennai Egmore weekly special train (06064) will leave Tirunelveli at 2.45 p.m. on Sundays from July 5 to 26 and reach Chennai Egmore at 4.20 a.m. the next day.

The train will stop at Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Tiruchi, Dindigul, Kodaikkanal Road, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti, and Vanchi Maniyachi. The

The Tirunelveli–Chennai Egmore weekly special (06064) train will stop at Mambalam also.

Advance reservation for the special trains will commence on June 25, a Southern Railway press release here said.
