Red Cross takes out rally against tobacco consumption

Nursing students and Indian Red Cross Society members marched to highlight the dangers of tobacco consumption

A large number of nursing students and Indian Red Cross Society members took out an awareness rally to highlight the ill-effects of tobacco use here on Wednesday. The rally was organised by the Tiruchi branch of the Indian Red Cross Society.

The students and IRCS members, highlighting the dangers of smoking and use of tobacco in other forms, marched from the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial GH to the Corporation office.
