Rally on conservation

School students and staff members of the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) took out a rally in the city on Friday as part of the Oil and Gas Conservation Fortnight observation. The march was taken out to sensitise people on the need to conserve oil and gas. The rally was flagged off by P.Ganesan, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), near the St.John’s Vestry Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School. The rally culminated at Central Bus Stand. R.Jyothi Prasad, senior regional manager, HPCL-Tiruchi region, participated in the march.
