Rajbhasa Day at BHEL

: Rajbhasha Day was celebrated at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited at a function held at Kailasapuram Township here on Friday.

S. Gopinath, Executive Director and Chairman, Official Language Implementation Committee, BHEL, Tiruchi, said that Hindi language helped in uniting people from different regions of the country. Highlighting various activities being carried out at BHEL Tiruchi to promote Hindi, he called upon the employees to utilize the facilities to learn the language. With the availability of modern technology and gadgets as learning tools it was easier now to learn a new language, he added.

A.K. Agarwal, Divisional Railway Manager, Tiruchi, said that people from other regions should try to learn Tamil for effective communication at their work places. Awards and certificates were presented to winners of various competitions held for employees and school children in connection with the Rajbhasa Day

Mr. Gopinath released a Hindi Souvenir, ‘BHEL Kiran’ and presented the first copy to Mr Agarwal, a BHEL press release here said.
