Pachamuthu files nomination papers in Perambalur

Mr. Pachamuthu, founder of SRM Group of Institutions, submitted his papers to the Perambulur Collector and Returning Officer Darez Ahamed at the Collectorate.

Contesting for the first-time in Lok Sabha election from the Perambalur Parliamentary constituency, the Indiya Jananayaka Katchi (IJK) founder T.R. Pachamuthu filed his nomination papers here on Friday.

Mr. Pachamuthu, founder of SRM Group of Institutions, submitted his papers to the Collector and Returning Officer Darez Ahamed at the Collectorate accompanied by members of National Democratic Alliance partners.

According to the affidavit filed by Mr. Pachamuthu, the total value of his movable assets is Rs. 13.09 crore, while the value of the movable assets in his wife Eswari’s name is Rs. 3.27 crore.

The approximate current market value of immovable assets in his name is Rs. 41.87 crore, and his wife’s at Rs. 19.45 crore.

The total value of Mr. Pachamuthu’s self acquired assets is Rs. 2.42 crore and that of his wife is Rs. 56.07 lakhs. Loan obtained in the name of Mr. Pachamuthu is Rs. 1.26 crore and Rs. 1.82 crore in his wife’s name. He is in possession of jewels weighing 242 grams worth Rs. 4.60 lakh, while his wife possesses 7,600 grams worth Rs. 1.14 crore.

According to the affidavit, Mr. Pachamuthu has no vehicle in his name.
