The Expenditure Observer for the Srirangam by-election, Sridhar Dora, on Tuesday inspected the process of vehicle checks being conducted at the Pettavaithalai, Kudamuritti and Thiruvanaikovail check posts. Vehicle checks are being conducted at the check posts around the constituency to check for transport of cash and gift articles. Mr.Dora verified whether registers are being properly maintained on the checks conducted on vehicles. He later held discussions with the Collector and District Election Officer K.S.Palanisamy on the by-election process.
