M.Sc. admissions

The Department of Medical Physics, School of Physics, Bharathidasan University, has invited applications for admission to the two-year M.Sc. Medical Physics programme.

Students who have completed B.Sc. Physics with 60 per cent marks in Part-III and with Mathematics or Electronics as allied subjects are eligible to apply. B.Sc. Physics students awaiting sixth semester results can apply with their five semester marks, and their provisional admission will be confirmed only if they successfully complete their UG Degree Programme with 60 per cent in Part III.

Admission will be based both on the marks scored in the undergraduate programme and the entrance examination to be conducted by the Department. The programme was offered in collaboration with G.V.N. Hospital, Tiruchi.

Students who complete the programme can get placements as medical physicists in hospitals, an university press release said. For more information, visit the university website:www.bdu.ac.in
