A model of the Rajagopuram of the Srirangam Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple which was commissioned at the Tiruchi Airport on Thursday.

A model of the famous Rajagopuram of Srirangam Ranganathaswamy Temple has been installed at Tiruchi international airport terminal.

The miniature size exhibit of the temple gopuram has been kept at the public concourse of the terminal as an attraction. Designed by Poompuhar, the model measuring nine feet in height has been executed at a cost of ₹6 lakh.

Chief Commissioner of Income Tax Pramod Nangia inaugurated the model in the presence of Airport Director K. Gunasekaran and Airports Authority of India officials, a release said.
