Jewellery appraiser training

Applications have been invited for the jewellery appraiser training programme offered by the Tiruchi Institute of Cooperative Management.

The programme, commencing March 17, would be of 100 hours duration, including 60 hours of practical training in jewellery making and quality assessment. The training would be conducted on weekends. The course fee will be Rs.3,140 and applications can be had from the institute on payment of Rs.50.

On completion, trainees would be issued government approved certificates, said R.Chelladurai, principal of the institute. The minimum educational qualification for joining the training will be SSLC and there is no age limit.
