IIM-T team wins contest

The Indian Institute of Management-Tiruchi students V. Upendran and Anirudh Jain were adjudged second at the Global Supply Chain Management Initiative (GSCMI) inter-college case study competition held at Purdue University, Illinois, United States of America.

Schools from across the United States and around the globe participated in the annual competition. It was conducted in two phases. First phase was a virtual qualifying or elimination round and second phase involved the top six qualifying schools from first phase.

Second phase of the competition was held on 16th and 17th February, 2017 at Purdue University with the teams from IIM-T, IIM Shillong, Richard Ivey School of Business Western University, Georgia Institute of Technology-Scheller College of Business, Owen Graduate School of Management, Vanderbilt University and University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.

All teams were provided with a case on day one of the phase 2 and the presentations held on day two along with the GSCMI Spring Conference. Supply Chain Resilience was the theme for the case study this year.
