Ex-servicemen are called for engaging in security work for the coming Lok Sabha elections here in the district.
In an administration release, Collector T. Munusamy has invited ex-servicemen, with physical fitness to volunteer for security service.
Ex-servicemen are requested to contact the office of ex-servicepersons welfare at the Collectorate with originals of relieving order, and ex-servicepersons identity card.
Selected persons will be entitled to a stipend and food allowance during the period.
