Electric bike catches fire in Manapparai district of Tamil Nadu

An electric bike parked in front of a shop at Manapparai in Tiruchi district caught fire on Monday resulting in damage to its battery. However, no one was injured in the incident. Police said the bike owner, R. Murugesan, 28, had left the vehicle with his friend Balu before leaving abroad.

The vehicle was parked in front of Mr. Balu’s shop when it caught fire.
