Constable’s car hits railings in airport

A Tamil Nadu Special Police constable inadvertently drove the car in front of the arrival area of the international airport which is closed for vehicular movement and caused damage to the railings on Wednesday evening.

Constable Selva came to the airport to receive his relative coming from Saudi Arabia when the incident occurred.

As the driver left for a cup of tea, Mr. Selva drove the car from the parking area and inadvertently came in front of the arrival area. He was stopped by the CISF personnel. While backing up, the car hit the foundation of the railings.

The Airports Authority of India officials inspected the spot and fined Mr. Selva.
