Applications for receiving monthly unemployment assistance would be issued at the District Employment Office here till November 30. Unemployed candidates with registrations with the employment office for over five years as on September 30 are eligible. SSLC failed, SSLC passed and Plus Two passed candidates and graduates are eligible to get the dole.
Differently abled persons with employment registrations of more than a year as on September 30 are also eligible. SC/ST candidates below the age of 45 and candidates below the age of 40 from other communities, with annual family income below Rs.50,000 are eligible. There will be no age limit for differently abled persons.
The applications can be obtained in the forenoon sessions on production of employment identity cards, educational certificates and ration cards. Candidates who are availing the assistance should submit self-declarations for the year 2015-16 at the Employment Office, a release said.
